We are seeking a Payroll/HR Assistant for an Electronics Manufacturing company in Irvine, CA!

Location: Irvine, CA 92618

Schedule: Fully in-office, 5 days a week (Mon-Fri), 8:30am - 5:00pm

SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for all aspects of processing bi-weekly and other scheduled payrolls utilizing ADP TotalSource.


The Payroll/HR Assistant will manage employee's contribution changes on ADP TotalSource, leave accruals and use of internal PTO request system, and performing quarterly payroll audits. Additionally, provide payroll journals and other requested payroll, DI reports, payroll EST reports, tax and leave data to the Accounting Department. Assist with running the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices, as needed.


This position supports the HR Department by managing copmany 401K program by compiling and preparing data for annual audits and reconciling benefit invoices to provide to the Accounting Department. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; recognition, and training and development. Additionally, support the HR Supervisor with sales incentive programs, conferences and special events as needed.


DUTIES:

  • Responsible for all payroll functions and requisite reporting.
  • Assist with the new hire on-boarding process and orientation program.
  • Assist with Benefits and 401k administration.
  • Assist Sr Mgr, HR & Office Mgmt in implementing and maintaining policies ensuring compliance of Federal and State laws.
  • Performance Appraisal and sales incentive processes
  • Assist in planning, implementation and support the implementation of HR programs and activities.
  • Tasks deemed necessary for administrative activities of the department and the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
  • ADP software (required)
  • Basic HR knowledge of federal/state employment regulations, benefits, onboarding, and recruiting
  • Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
